Rules and regulations
For insurance reasons, visitors to Rødby Gokart must provide their personal information and sign the disclaimer below, which can be read at the bottom of the page before they can drive.
0alcohol - before and during driving in Rødby Gokart
At Rødby Gokart, we strongly believe that alcohol and driving behind a steering wheel are not compatible.
That's why we have a zero alcohol policy, to ensure safety on the track and that people are 100% focused while driving on our track.
G-INFLUENCE
- Discomfort may occur (typical for people who cannot tolerate carousels, roller coasters, etc.)
- If dizziness or nausea occurs - DRIVE IMMEDIATELY IN PIT!
- If you throw up in one of our helmets, it costs DKK 500.00 incl. VAT. The helmet is now yours to own forever
RULES AND CONSIDERATIONS
If you drive negligently or recklessly and do not comply with any instructions from Rødby Gokart's instructors, driving will be stopped immediately. Rødby Gokart has a 0 alcohol policy = your blood alcohol level is 0.0 when you come and drive with us, including during the race.
The surface and character of the go-kart track changes depending on the weather and season. Therefore, drive carefully the first few laps until you are familiar with the karts and track. Special weather conditions can cause condensation to form on the track, which means increased lap times. Therefore, in some cases we may be forced to shorten races.
If you do not show up at the agreed time, Rødby Gokart has the right to shorten your race. During particularly busy periods, we may hold several races at the same time, so you can race against other teams. If you want to race alone, you must be a minimum of six people to have the track to yourselves.

How to dress
The use of a helmet is mandatory. All necessary equipment such as driving suits and helmets can be used at no extra cost. Driving suits of all sizes and helmets ensure you have the ideal starting point for a great experience on the track.
To ensure good hygiene, our customers must wear a helmet cap under the helmet. The helmet cap can be purchased at Rødby Gokart for DKK 20.
Stiletto heels, baggy clothing and long loose hair are not allowed.
You can also use your own helmet or helmet cap.
HELMET, HELMET CAP AND CLOTHING
- Always wear tight-fitting clothing. Scarves, ties and belts etc. should be securely fastened.
- Throwing helmets is not allowed. Helmets destroyed due to recklessness will be replaced.
- Long hair should always be tied up under the helmet cap and helmet.
Helmets must always be worn while driving and must always be fastened correctly under the chin. If you are unsure whether your helmet is correctly fitted, contact one of Rødby Gokart's instructors.
For hygiene reasons, you must always wear a helmet cap when using our helmets.
Controller
Disclaimer of liability
The disclaimer applies to property, including in particular clothing and valuables left unattended and items lost/forgotten in the go-kart or on the track. Rødby Gokart has lockers available if you want valuables locked away. Rødby Gokart is not liable for personal injury or property damage that I or a third party may cause, as well as damage I may suffer as a result of a third party or that I may cause to a third party.
The above disclaimer does not apply to damage that may occur as a result of grossly negligent or intentional acts performed by Rødby Gokart or its employees or representatives.
Go-karting requires high concentration, physical strength and good behavior. I therefore declare that I am in good physical condition and that I am not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that may make me unfit to drive a go-kart. It is emphasized that people with heart problems or high blood pressure, pregnant women and people with back injuries are at risk and are therefore not allowed to drive at Rødby Gokart.
I will follow all instructions given to me by the employees or representatives of Rødby Gokart.
I am liable for damage to the go-kart or Rødby Gokart's other equipment/facilities if I act with gross negligence, commit vandalism or disregard the instructions given to me by the employees or representatives of Rødby Gokart.
